The Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) is a compulsory course offered in final year to B. Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture students primarily to understand the rural situations, status of Agricultural technologies adopted by farmers, prioritize the farmers problems and to develop skills & attitude of working with farmer families for development in rural area. This programme impart diagnostic and remedial knowledge to the students relevant to real field situations through practical training. Also it develops communication skills in students using extension teaching methods in transfer of technology. We successfully organized this programme through our college students and technical staff (Subject Matter Specialist of all departments) from academic year 2013 - 2014 at various villages in our nearby periphery. It will help to develop the confidence and competence among the students to solve the problems of farmers and encouraging them for their better future.
