The Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal (MSSM) trust established in 10th February, 1969 . Trust is doing their social activity under the valuable guidance of energetic, enthusiastic & dynamic person Krishiratna Shri. Vijayanna Borade, Executive Director well known as social worker. The renowned social worker and awarded with Krishibhushan, Shri. Bhagwanrao Kale is the Secretary of the Trust. MSSM’S trust has started College of Agriculture at Kharpudi Village in year 2008 which is located near to Jalna District with eco friendly and peaceful environment for agriculture education. It is located in the educational environment having various agricultural activities performed by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Agriculture polytechnic. MSSM’S College of Agriculture, Kharpudi is located just 3 km from Jalna Railway Station and 6 km from Central Bus Stand, Jalna is well known as seed and steel hub of Maharashtra. Jalna is very well connected by road, rail.

Principal Message
Agricultural Education is the backbone for our nation because 65 % of population is still dependent on agriculture and allied fields. It is very essential to adopt the new technology in agriculture to develop the socio-economic structure of the farmers of the developing nation. It is stepping stone for a country to move into the developed nation with application of agriculture technology and farm mechanization. Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal is the trust which has been contributing in the mission of transforming rural India into developed nation by running College of Agriculture, Kharpudi, Jalna from year 2008 with innovation, creativity, human intelligence and patience. It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the creative world of COA, Kharpudi which has very eco-friendly campus and is equipped with good infrastructure. We have well equipped labs and libraries to help students in attaining highest standards in academics, research and professional skills. The campus has adequate sports infrastructure to take care of Sports and recreational activities. Creating better human beings is our motto and we can do that when we are able to mould our students to be good human beings with values which are embedded for life. We aim to provide an overall development that nurtures them towards becoming strong and focused human beings. The main focus of the Institution is to empower students with sound knowledge, wisdom, experience and training both at the academic level of Agriculture and in the highly competitive global industrial markets. Our talented and dedicated faculty contributes to an enjoyable and an easy learning experience for students. Marathwada sheti Sahayya Mandal (MSSM) was registered on 10th February, 1969 with an objective to cater the educational needs of students of Maharashtra in region in particular in the field of Agriculture in Various activities in education, extension and research are going on through different institutions like Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Aamchi Shala, Agriculture Polytechnic College and Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University Center, Kharpudi, Jalna. We have to improve India’s share of Agricultural trade in the global market and to equip our young Agri-graduates to become Agri-enterprueners rather than seekers of government jobs There is a need to put in place a system where in Agri-graduates are able to earn a livelihood by selling skill of knowledge to farmers. The Marathwada Sheti Sahayya Mandal decided to strive hard to achieve and to maintain technological leadership as Center of Excellence in different fields through transfer of Agriculture technology by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kharpudi and creating educational program for students and faculty members/scientists and farmers by continuous upgrading the research facilitates to bring novel health care systems in a most cost effective way for the masses.
